This place has been around for a very long time! The servers are always attentive and quick! We enjoy their buy one get one specials! We get a large saki and a large Sapporo and the next order is free! They have thick fit fish, although last night our himachi kama was very small-- i guess it's luck of the draw for when the sushi man cuts the fish. We tried he new Miami roll-- it was okay but a big fan. The usual unagi, rainbow roll, spicy scallop and volcano roll are all great! We like how it's close and have plenty of seating!

To celebrate the start of school, we chose to eat at Bangkok Tokyo Asian Fusion to try something new. With ease of parking and one two free standing restaurants located within a Safeway stripmall. We were not disappointed! The restaurant itself is spacious, modern and inviting. So many menu options that fused Thai food with Japanese sushi items... a crowd pleaser for all! We ordered some apps, like edamame and crab cheese wontons and another shrimp octopus dish over carrots called Sunomono. Dinner consisted of 2 hand rolls, salmon roe and unagi (eel) as well as an osaka roll. We also ordered Tokyo Sesame Chicken, crispy and in a rich sauce with brocolli. Spicy basil eggplant with crispy tofu was delicious! A little coolness outside called for an aromatic jasmine tea that paired well with the meal. What made this experience so great was the service! Quick, kind, courteous and charasmatic! Looks like we have a new Thai/Japanese place to frequent!

We arrived a bit after 1pm to basically an empty restaurant. Another couple had just arrived with a newborn. The restaurant itself was hot - the heat hit you when you opened the door. Approximately 40 minutes after arrival, I noticed them adjusting the thermostat. Service was OK. The couple with the newborn was friends with the waiter so they seemed to get most of the attention and sake. We ordered the Duke Roll, Rainbow Naruto, and Miami Roll. The sushi itself was delicious - helped to make up for the service, especially since there were other employees who seemed they had nothing to do.

Opened on Christmas!!! Yay . I hate Christmas cooking because while you are working hard in the kitchen for everyone to enjoy, everyone is relaxing, playing games, etc. So this is my third year eating out and I love it! Anyway, food was great. Sushi was good and service was excellent this time.
